We invite you to come join our team as a CT XRay Lead Technologist. 

This full-time career opportunity is located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging practice. The center currently provides a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a comfortable and patient friendly environment. We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient CT and Radiologic exams and procedures. They will adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in Quality Control and Process Improvement activities, and maintain their own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. The Lead CT Tech functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire CT/X-Ray department, and maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Under the supervision of the Director of Imaging, the Lead CT Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures with quality patient care, assisting physicians as needed, assisting with day to day activities, supervision of the staff and provide input with evaluations, competencies and orientation for CT technologist.
 

As a Lead CT Technologist you will:

  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT and Fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.

  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.

  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action. .

  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

  • Assist radiologists with procedures such as image guided body biopsies and thyroid biopsies.

  • May occasionally travel to our nearby outpatient centers to help with coverage if needed

  • Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Science degree in Radiology

  • Current California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification (CRT)

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(R)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • PACS experience


Preferred:

  • Five (5) years experience as a CT Technologist

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist CT certification

  • Leadership experience

We invite you to come join our team as a Medical Insurance Biller/Coder. The Medical Insurance Biller/Coder ensures efficient ICD10 & CPT codes for claims submissions and statement processing for services rendered. Aggressive claims  follow up in a timely manner.

 Essential FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES: (This list may not include all of the responsibilities assigned.)

  • Process billing calls by fielding questions and answering requests verbally and in writing.

  • Submit claims to insurance carriers and attorneys to ensure timely payment to for services rendered.

  • Follow up on unpaid accounts, claims and re-submissions.

  • Appeals claims for payments owed by Insurance companies.

  • Completes special projects as assigned.

  • Works as a team player supporting a variety of staff.

  • Displays a caring and responsive attitude and conducts all activities respecting patient, family and employee rights and expectations.

  • Code outgoing claims

  • Maintains and evaluates own clinical expertise and practice. Recognizes legal and policy limits of individual practice.

  • Maintains certification and license requirements and submits required evidence of certification/licensure as needed.

  • Adheres to all policies and procedures.

  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

  • Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.

  • Adheres to HIPAA regulations.

Medical Insurance Biller/Coder

 

We invite you to come join our team as an Authorizations Coordinator. The Authorizations Coordinator works with Manager and authorizations team verifying insurance benefit information, verifying ICD-10 codes, and obtaining authorization to ensure efficient claims submissions and statement processing for services rendered by Grossman Imaging Center. Job functions will be modified and improved as necessary to promote a team effort.

 Essential FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES: (This list may not include all of the responsibilities assigned.)

  • Confirm insurance eligibility and benefit information.

  • Obtain insurance authorization for procedures when applicable.

  • Review ICD-10 on orders to confirm it is a covered diagnosis.

  • Completes special projects as assigned.

  • Works as a team player supporting a variety of staff.

  • Displays a caring and responsive attitude and conducts all activities respecting patient, family and employee rights and expectations.

  • Adheres to established safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
